STARS IN LOVE , MARRIAGE AND RELATIONSHIP
Further, the birth star is Janma Nakshatra, the second is Sampatti or prosperity, the third Vipatti of danger or problems, the 4th as Kshema or happiness, the 5th is Pratyaram or undesirable, the 6th is Sadhaka or favourable, the 7th star is known as Vata, i.e., torture or massacre, the 8th is Mitra or friendly and the 9th star is known as Param Mitra, i.e., very friendly and the intimate relations. The same above sequence is in all the three Parirayas.
Exceptions explained by Rishi Kashyapa: He suggests that the girls born in the 6th Nakshatras, Kritika, Ashlesha, Chira, Anuradha, Dhanishtha and Shatbisha should no marry as the relationships will not be good with the boys born in the 7th Nakshatras namely Ashlesha, Swati, Poorvashadha, Dhnishtha, Bharni and Kritika. Here the married lie may be short. But he approves match for good relations for a girl born in Adra, Poorvaphalguni and Pushya and the boy born in 7h Nakshatra born from them.

When you move, you carry with you all those things which are vitally connected with you. That which does anything, or moves from place to place, is the person that moves. Now, the person is not the physical body that moves. Your mental structure is what you really are. You carry memories, for instance. Memories are not characteristics of the body. You have loves and hatreds, fears and anxieties, expectations, and many other characteristics which go with you wherever you go. You cannot throw your sorrow somewhere into the jungle, and then go on a travel. The sorrow will pursue you, and your joys also will come with you.
Not only that, apart from these visible characteristics of social relation, there are unavoidable relations which we maintain; namely, we feel within ourselves that we cannot exist unless we belong to society. We form, generally, small societies for the sake of our security, like family. Family is also a society. It may be of two or three persons. The cooperative coming together of these three or four persons called the family gives security to this group. The family is secure. A single person, totally independent, sitting in the wilderness, cannot feel that one is secure, because the winds of society will blow over the head in any manner.
But even a family cannot be secure unless it has the sanction of protection from a wider atmosphere, which is a larger society. You may call it the nation, or the country. The whole country and the national law protects you, takes care of you. The family cannot be secure if the nation is in danger. Even a nation is not fully secure if the international setup is not well balanced. Nowadays, the world situation affects even little families. The whole world has become one family now, so social associations extend up to the farthest corner of the earth, though we do not think deeply along these lines. None of us feels the necessity to think that we are existing here comfortably because of stable international relations. Theoretically, we may accept this fact, but we do not think that it is essential for us to go on worrying about this. How is it that we take this for granted? A tumult in international relations, which may be of great consequence, will affect every individual in the whole world, and how it will affect us is up to anyone to think for oneself.
The whole world is with you, and you carry it with you wherever you go. Wherever you go, you are in human society. Wherever you go, you are conditioned by these unavoidable associations with the external setup of social relation, even up to the limit of the United Nations. You have a vital connection with the United Nations. You may say, "What connection have I got? I am a simple individual sitting here. Let them do what they like." No, it is not like that. "Let them do what they like" is not correct, because if they do anything which is untoward, this may affect the whole ground of the earth, and as a wise person, you know what it is all about.
In the same way as we have to be perpetually aligned to the requirement of the international social setup, we have also to be perpetually in harmony with natural conditions. We cannot violate the laws of nature. You must know, as educated persons, what the laws of nature are. You cannot insult nature in any way. You cannot spit at the sun and condemn air, or criticise water, or hate fire. No, you should not say like that. They are divinities. God operates not only in the form of an indivisible social setup for the sustenance of our life; He also operates as nature. Philosophers tell us that the world is the body of God. When God created the world, He did not create human beings first. He created the elements only. Read the bible, the Upanishads, or the Gita. Whatever you read, you will find that man and woman were not created first; they are latecomers. These latecomers are now becoming so proud that they think they are the masters of the whole creation. This is a very great tragedy.

CANCER : ANTI - CANCER HERBS
There are dozens of herbs that are said to have anticancer properties, but clinical studies on their effectiveness is limited. Speak to your physician if you are thinking of adding herbs to your daily intake to treat or prevent cancer;
this is especially important if you are on medication for any condition. Herbs have a powerful impact on, and interaction with, prescription medications.
Saffron
Saffron is probably better known as a spice than as a medicinal herb, but it has been found to have anticancer properties. A report from “Experimental Biology And Medicine” states that saffron has the ability to prevent the development of, and slow the growth of, cancerous cells and tumors. When applied topically, saffron is able to help prevent the development of skin cancers.
Oldenlandia:-
Oldenlandia diffusa is an herb that is native to Asia, and has been used for thousands of years as a snake bite remedy. It is now regarded as an anticancer herb. One of the best scientific studies on oldenlandia’s affect on cancer is published in the 2004 issue of the “Journal of Herbal Pharmacotherapy”. This study reports that oldenlandia was tested against eight different cancer cell types, and it showed that it was able to stop the growth of these cancer cells. Not only did it stop the growth of the cancer, it also promoted the death of the cancer cells.
Researchers conclude that oldenlandia may be a powerful anticancer herb.
Artemisia
Artemisia is also known as “sweet wormwood” and it has been used for years to treat a number of ailments, from fever, to headaches, to malaria. Memorial SloanKettering Cancer Center in New York reports that it also is used as an anticancer treatment. It contains a compound called artemisinin, which has been found to stop the spread of thyroid cancer cells, and promote cell death in lung cancer.
Scutellaria
Scutellaria is an herb that is native to China and Korea. A study published in the February 2007 issue of “Phytotherapy Research” reports that scutellaria takes an active role against cancer no matter which stage the cancer is in. It prevents the development of cancer cells, and prevents new cancer cells from forming or developing off an existing tumor. This study states that scutellaria is particularly effective against gynecological cancers.
Curcumin
Curcumin is from the turmeric herb and is another herb that is better known as a spice than as an anticancer treatment. However, a study in the JanuaryFebruary issue of “Anticancer Research” shows that like scutellaria, curcumin is effective in treating the different stages of cancer. It is found to stop the development of tumors, as well as tumor growth, and the spread of cancer cells to other parts of the body. The study also reports that curcumin was given to human subjects in a dose of up to 10g per day with no evidence of toxic effects.

HINDU WEDDING RITUALS 13 STEPS OF A VEDIC MARRIAGE CEREMONY
While various regional steps are followed by different sects of Hindus across India, the following 13 steps form the core of a Vedic wedding ceremony:
· Vara Satkaarah - Reception of the bridegroom and his kinsmen at the entrance gate of the wedding hall where the officiating priest chants a few mantras and the bride's mother blesses the groom with rice and trefoil and applies tilak of vermilion and turmeric powder.
· Madhuparka Ceremony - Reception of the bridegroom at the altar and bestowing of presents by the bride's father.
· Kanya Dan - The bride's father gives away his daughter to the groom amidst the chanting of sacred mantras.
· Vivah-Homa - The sacred fire ceremony ascertaining that all auspicious undertakings are begun in an atmosphere of purity and spirituality.
· Pani-Grahan - The groom takes the right hand of the bride in his left hand and accepts her as his lawfully wedded wife.
· Pratigna-Karan - The couple walk round the fire, the bride leading, and take solemn vows of loyalty, steadfast love and life-long fidelity to each other.
· Shila Arohan - The mother of the bride assists her to step onto a stone slab and counsels her to prepare herself for a new life.
· Laja-Homah - Puffed rice offered as oblations into the sacred fire by the bride while keeping the palms of her hands over those of the groom.
· Parikrama or Pradakshina or Mangal Fera - The couple circles the sacred fire seven times. This aspect of the ceremony legalizes the marriage according to the Hindu Marriage Act as well custom.
· Saptapadi - Marriage knot symbolized by tying one end of the groom's scarf with the bride's dress. Then they take seven steps representing nourishment, strength, prosperity, happiness, progeny, long life and harmony and understanding, respectively.
· Abhishek - Sprinkling of water, meditating on the sun and the pole star.
· Anna Praashan - The couple make food offerings into the fire then feed a morsel of food to each other expressing mutual love and affection.
· Aashirvadah - Benediction by the elders.
· Pre Wedding Rituals
·
The pre wedding rituals comprise of engagement, tilak, sagai, sangeet and mehandi. The Engagement can also be called the ring ceremony, wherein the prospective couple exchanges rings. Next is the Tilak ceremony, in which the bride's brother applies tilak to the groom and gives him gifts. After this, the Sagai ceremony is conducted in which both the parties exchange gifts. Then comes the Sangeet ceremony, wherein the female members sing and dance to rejoice the occasion. Just before the wedding, the Mehandi ceremony is organized, in which mehndi is applied on bride's hands and feet.
Wedding Rituals:
·
The wedding rituals begin with the Jaimala ceremony, in which the bride and the groom exchange flower garlands. After this, they are taken to the mandap where the Kanyadaan ritual is performed. In this ritual, the bride's father gives away his daughter to the groom, while the priest chants mantras. After this, the Mangalpheras take place around the sacred fire. They also take the seven vows called Saptapadi, and promise to abide by them throughout their lives. After this, the groom puts sindoor or vermillion in the bride's hair parting. This is followed by tying of mangalsutra around the bride's neck by the groom.
Post Wedding Rituals
· The post wedding rituals comprise of vidaai and reception. In the Vidaai ceremony the family of the bride gives her a sobbing farewell. Before leaving, the bride throws back three handful of rice and coin over her shoulders, towards her parental home. This is done to ensure wealth and prosperity remains in her home forever. On the arrival at the groom's house, the new couple is welcomed by the groom's mother, with a traditional aarti.
The bride is asked to knock a vessel filled with rice, kept at the entrance. She then dips her feet in a mixture of red vermillion and enters the house, leaving foot prints on the floor. This ritual is practiced as the bride is considered a form of Goddess Laxmi. After this, a number of wedding games are played to make the bride comfortable. Furthermore, a reception party is organized by the groom's family in the evening. This is organized to welcome the new member and introduce her to the associates.
·
· hy grooms usually stand on the right and brides on the left during a wedding ceremony.
· Long ago, the right arm was considered the sword arm of most fighting men. If a man had to protect his bride, he would hold her with his left hand, and fight off attackers with his right arm.
· The reason that men may have had to fight off others was because quite often women were kidnapped. Family members naturally wanted to rescue the stolen brides. Sometimes even during the wedding ceremony, the grooms had to fight off other men who were desirous of their brides, along with the bride's family members. So having his right arm free was an important strategy.
· This tradition is followed today by when facing the officiant, having the bride stand to the left, and the groom stand to the right.
· Another reason is that the union of the right hands of the bride and groom symbolizes their union as one, their strength in being together, and the combined resources that they bring to their marriage.
· During a Jewish ceremony, the bride is often on the right and the groom is on the left.
Hindu marriages are the most lavish and extensive. They extend over a period of four to five days. They are highly traditional and strongly adhere to the ancient customs and traditions. Moreover, wedding is considered an important religious practice in Hindu religion. It is held as one of sacred sixteen sanskaras or sacraments. It is not just the bond between two people but also between two families. The Hindu marriage is primarily divided into three segments, pre wedding rituals, wedding rituals, and post wedding rituals.
